“The Family Tree” at the Crowell Gallery

We are pleased to announce the opening of our group exhibition at the Crowell in Newfane, Vermont on Sunday, September 6, 2026 from 1 to 3:30 pm.

“The Family Tree” considers the influences and challenges that all five artists and family members have had on each other. The work of three generations of this artistic family include; Fred F. Scherer: landscapes in oil; his wife artist Cicely Aikman: works in oil; his daughter Deidre Scherer: figurative works in thread on fabric; and two of his granddaughters Gianna Robinson: landscapes and abstractions in oils & acrylic; and Corina Willette: oil painting in both figurative and landscape genre. The show is up from September 3rd through 30th.
